Abyssinia Oil:
Crambe abyssinica, indigenous to several Mediterranean countries including Greece, is an annual plant commonly found in rocky areas. Due to its short height and the lack of any distinct characteristics, it usually goes unnoticed yet it has become very popular over the years and has been growingly cultivated in the Middle East, sub-Saharan Africa and the US
Its seeds produce the Abyssinica oil which, though non-edible, is particularly useful due to being resistant to corrosion and able to withstand high temperatures. Thanks to its rather unusual for a plant extract properties, Abyssinica oil has attracted the attention of various cosmetology researchers who believe the oil’s value is immense;
It nourishes and moisturises the skin without leaving oily traces and it is easily absorbed. It is also an ingredient that mixes well with other oils and substances, therefore it has become a key ingredient in numerous skincare products, especially those that aim to protect lips and lashes naturally
